Garbage Pickup
If you live east of Penman
Road, your garbage pick up is on Monday and Thursday. West of Penman
Road is serviced Tuesday and Friday. Garbage pickup for our city is side
yard service. This means that cans do not have to be brought to the
curb, they can be left by the house. However, regardless of where the
garbage can is collected, cans will be returned to the side of your
residence. Recycling is picked up on Monday if you live east of Penman
Road and north of Florida Boulevard, on Tuesday if you live west of
Penman Road and north of Forest Avenue, on Thursday if you live east of
Penman Road and South of Florida Boulevard, and Friday if you live west
of Penman Road and south of Forest Avenue. Yard waste is is picked
up on Wednesdays for the entire city and appliances are picked
up on Wednesdays as well. Should you have any questions regarding
service, please contact the Public Services Facility at 270-2423.

Holiday Schedule
The City of Neptune Beach has contracted with WastePro to pick up your
garbage on its regularly scheduled day throughout the year. However,
there are two exceptions to this agreement, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
For these two (2) holidays garbage will not be picked up on the
regularly scheduled day, but extended to the next day. Therefore, when
it is Thanksgiving Thursday, and this is your regularly scheduled pick
up day, your garbage will be picked up on Friday; if your regularly
scheduled pick up is on Friday, it will be picked up on Saturday, etc.
The same rule applies for Christmas. If your regularly scheduled pick up
day is Tuesday and Christmas falls on that day, your garbage will be
picked up on Wednesday; Wednesday's regularly scheduled pick up will be
on Thursday; Thursday's regularly scheduled pick up will be on Friday,
etc.
Should you have any questions regarding this information, please contact
the Public Works Department at 270-2423.
